How we handle your information

This page explains what this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Who is responsible for your data

Powertech Transformers & Controls Pvt Ltd is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data collected through this website. That means we decide why and how it is handled, and we are answerable for it.

Our registered office and works are at Plot No. 62/2, Part CIE, Gandhi Nagar, Balanagar, Hyderabad, Telangana 500037.

This notice is given under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It is available in English; if you would prefer it in another language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, write to us and we will provide it.

What we collect, and why

We only ever hold what you give us, for the purpose you gave it for.

**When you send an enquiry** — your name, company, email address, phone number, the product you asked about, your message, and which page you sent it from. We use this to answer you: to prepare a technical and commercial proposal and to stay in touch about that project.

**When you leave your details with the assistant** — your name, phone number and the requirement you describe, used for the same purpose.

**When you make a request about your data** — your name, email address and what you are asking for, used only to answer that request and to keep a record that we did.

**If you allow it** — how the site is used: the page, the site that referred you, your device type, browser, how long the page was open and how far it was scrolled. This is counted with a code scrambled fresh every day, so it cannot be traced back to you or joined up across days, and it is never linked to an enquiry.

We do not ask for financial details, identity documents, or any other sensitive information, and we have no use for them. Please do not send them.

On what basis

For enquiries and data requests, on the basis that you have voluntarily given us the information for a purpose you wanted — answering you — and have not asked us to stop. This is a certain legitimate use under section 7(a) of the Act.

For understanding how the site is used, and for any advertising measurement, on the basis of your consent, which we ask for before anything runs and which you can change or withdraw at any time from **Privacy choices** in the footer. Refusing costs you nothing: the site works exactly the same.

Who else sees it

Enquiries reach our own sales and engineering team and are held on our own server. We do not sell your details, we do not add you to lists you did not ask for, and we do not share them with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

If you have agreed to advertising measurement, the provider concerned — such as Google or Meta — receives usage data under its own terms. You can withdraw that agreement at any time and it stops.

How long we keep it

An enquiry is kept while the project or the prospect of one is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, and is then erased. If it becomes clear the purpose has ended, we erase it sooner.

Data requests are kept only as long as needed to answer them and to show that we did. Usage data is aggregate and holds nothing that points at a person.

Your rights

Under the Act you may ask us to:

**Tell you what we hold** — a summary of your personal data, what we are doing with it, and who else has seen it.

**Correct or complete it** — if anything we hold is wrong, out of date or incomplete.

**Erase it** — unless we are required by law to keep it.

**Nominate someone** — to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to act.

**Withdraw your consent** — for anything you agreed to. It is as easy to withdraw as it was to give: use **Privacy choices** in the footer, or the form below.

Use the form on this page, or write to the person named below. We will act on it, and we will not charge you for it. Please make the request in good faith and give us enough detail to find your record.

If you are not satisfied

Write to the person we have named to answer questions about your data — their details are below. If we do not resolve it, you may complain to the **Data Protection Board of India**.

Please raise it with us first. We would much rather fix it.

Children

This is a website about industrial electrical equipment and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen, and we do not profile, track or advertise to children.

If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will erase them.

Keeping it safe

We hold enquiries on our own server behind authentication, keep only what we need, and limit access to the people who have to answer you. Passwords are stored only as an irreversible hash.

If a breach ever puts your data at risk, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires.

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or why, we will change this page and, where the change is significant, ask for your choices again. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

Your rights

Ask us to act on your data

Use this and a person will answer. There is no charge, and you do not need an account.
What would you like us to do?

We use these details only to answer this request and to keep a record that we did.
